How to Shut down your SolarEdge inverter
- Move the red toggle switch to the OFF position ('0'), and wait 30 seconds
- Switch the DC PV Array Isolator to the OFF position
- Switch the "Main Switch Inverter Supply" or "AC isolator" to the OFF position
To power the system back on again, follow the steps in reverse order.
Explanation of switches
By turning off the red toggle switch, it sends a command to the Optimizers attached to the panels to de-energize.
Turning off the DC PV Array Isolator cuts the power supply between the inverter and the solar panels.
Turning off the 'Main Switch Inverter Supply" or "AC Isolator" cuts power between the inverter and the household supply (or grid).
